B attery not charging and discharging
After checking wiring correctly and commissioning, if the battery is not charging or
discharging without any error codes showing on the inverter, please follow the below
processes.
Battery not charging
1. Check the SOC of the battery. It is correct that the battery does not charge if the
SOC is 100%.
2. Check whether the PV power is sufficient. The battery will not charge under normal
charge management mode if the load power is more than the PV power. It will not
start charging if the excess PV power is less than 150 W (in which case it will be
exported to the grid instead).
3. Check the settings of battery type and battery capacity.
Note: Key-stop the inverter (select ‘OFF’ on the LCD screen) first before checking the
settings. For ‘other lead acid battery’, check the parameter settings according to the
battery specifications.
4. Is the battery in maintenance mode (only for lead acid battery) ? It will show ‘maintain’
on the main screen of the LCD.

Battery not discharging
1. Check the SOC of the battery. It is correct that the battery does not discharge if the
SOC is 0%.
2. Check whether the PV power is sufficient. The battery will not discharge under
normal charge management mode if the PV power is more than the load power. It
will not start discharging if the import power is less than 150 W.
3. Check the Reserved Capacity of battery (called ‘Backup SOC’ in the earlier firmware
version). The battery will not discharge when the Reserved Capacity (backup SOC)
is reached when the grid is on. The default value should be 0%.
4. Check the ‘Forced charge’ setting. The battery will not discharge in the time period of
the ‘Forced Charge’ is applied.

5. Check the settings of battery type and battery capacity.
