CAPE POINT PENINSULA TOUR
Join us as we travel around the Cape Peninsula, named by early explorers as the ‘Fairest Cape’. On this tour

wildlife and world-famous botanical gardens.

ROBBEN ISLAND TOURS
Robben Island’s most famous resident was Nelson Mandela, who spent most of his 27 year prison sentence
there. The island is now a museum and conservation area and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999.
This is a half-day tour and can be combined with another Jarat half-day tour.

WINELANDS TOUR
The world-famous Cape Winelands is a visual feast of lush green valleys, rugged mountains, ne cuisine

TOWNSHIP TOURS
This tour shows how the majority of South Africans live in the bustling townships. It is an excellent
opportunity to interact with local communities and share in the rich African culture and traditional values.
Experience unique township culinary delights, or try some home-made brew in a shebeen (pub) while
enjoying some township jazz. Visit an African craft market, spaza shop, school, orphanage, community
centre and a traditional healer.

WHALE ROUTE TOUR - (SEASONAL)
Hermanus lies along the shores of Walker Bay near the southernmost tip of Africa. Magnicent mountains
watch over the town, which is home to the Southern Right Whales who frequent the shores annually from
June to November. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view these magnicent creatures
from the best land-based whale watching location in the world. Listen out for the whale crier’s horn which is
sounded upon sightings in the bay.
