Identification Sign Requirements
SHORT-TERM RENTAL IDENTIFICATION SIGN
Every Short-Term Rental (STR) property located within the City of Virginia Beach is required to post an
identification sign in accordance with Section 241.2(4) of the City Zoning Ordinance.
The STR property owner is responsibility for obtaining and posting the STR Identification Sign and ensuring the
sign meets the criteria found in this policy document and Section 241.2(4) of the City Zoning Ordinance. *
