1) Q: How do I get to Atlantis?
A: Taxis or ferry ride. Taxis are available at the cruise port - $4 per person; you can also take a
ferry ride from Prince George Wharf to Paradise Island - $4 per person.
2) Q: Is there a cost to enter Atlantis or Paradise Island?
A: There is a bridge toll to enter Paradise Island, which is included when being transported by
taxi or ferry. Toll for self drive vehicles is $2. There is no charge to enter the Atlantis resort;
however, there is a charge to access the water park, aquarium and beach amenities.
3) Q: How much is the day pass to Atlantis, and what am I permitted to do with the day pass?
A: The Atlantis Aquaventure package includes: beach access, water slides, river rides, pools
marine habitats and The Dig. Aquaventure day pass fee - $150 - $161 (Adults), $99 (child 12 &

4) Q: How much is the Aquarium fee at Atlantis?
A: $42 per person; aquarium hours: 9am 12midnight
5) Q: Is there any shopping in the area?
A: A variety of shops are on the Bay Street strip.
6) Q: Where can I find an Internet Café?
A: The Cyber Cais located above Harley Davidson in an arcade opposite Prince George Wharf.
7) Q: Where can I find Del Sol/Caribha?
A: One block south of the cruise port, on the corner of Bay Street and Frederick Street.
8) Q: Is there a public beach in the area?
A: Junkanoo Beach is located less than 1 mile west of the cruise port, 15-18 minute walk.
9) Q: Where can I purchase Bahamian made arts and crafts?
A: Authentically Bahamian items can be purchased at the Festival Place Craft Market at the
cruise port or at the Straw Market located between Bay Street and Prince George Wharf.
10) Q: What activities and tours are available on the island?
A: There are a wide variety of tours available on the island. For information visit Bahamas.com,
check with your cruise ship or visit the Welcome Desk at the Festival Place Cruise Terminal.
11) Q: Is there any snorkeling at the public beaches?
A: Snorkeling is available at Love Beach - $35 per person (includes roundtrip transportation and
snorkel gear).
12) Q: How do I get to the new resort on Cable Beach?
A: Taxis or public buses can take you to the Baha Mar Resort. The public buses (No. 10) are
located on Frederick Street - $1.25 per person (one way). Taxis are available at the Festival Place
Cruise Port - $18 for first 2 passengers, $4 for each additional passenger.
13) Where is the Pirates of Nassau Museum?
A: Located off Bay Street on George and King Streets.
14) Q: Where is the distillery/brewery?
A: The John Watlings Distillery is located on Delancy Street near downtown Nassau. Visit the
Welcome Desk at the Festival Place Cruise Terminal for directions.
15) Q: Is there a Starbucks in the area?
A: Starbucks is located on Charlotte Street between Bay Street and Prince George Wharf.
16) Q: Where can I rent a bicycle, scooter, ATV, car, jeep caravan?
A: A variety of vehicles are available for rent at the cruise port, see Welcome Desk for any
assistance needed.
17) Q: Where should I go to enjoy your local cuisine?
A: For authentic Bahamian food, check out Arawak Cay (Fish Fry) or Potter’s Cay Dock. A
number of restaurants in the downtown area also feature Bahamian food on their menu.
18) Is there any hair braiding in the area?
A: Licensed hair braiders are available at the Festival Place Cruise Port.
Q: Where can I find White Hennessy?
A: White Hennessy is sold at most liquor stores along Bay Street.
19) Q: Where is the Rum Cake Factory?
A: The Tortuga Rums store is located on Frederick Street and The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory is
located on East Bay Street.
20) Q: How can I interact with dolphins, sea lions and stingrays?
A: Dolphin and sea lion encounters are offered by Blue Lagoon Island. You can either book
directly at www.bahamasbluelagoon.com, with your cruise ship or visit the Welcome Desk at the
Festival Place Cruise Terminal.
21) Q: How do I get to Blue Lagoon Island, Rose Island, Pearl Island or Balmoral Island?
A: These private islands are accessible by boat only. Boats for Blue Lagoon and Rose islands
leave from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, and boats to Pearl and Balmoral islands are at Prince
George Wharf near the cruise terminal. Excursions may be booked directly online, with your cruise
ship or at the Welcome Desk at the Festival Place Cruise Terminal.
22) Q: Can I rent wheelchairs or motorized scooters in the area?
A: Currently, there are no vendors renting wheelchairs or motorized scooters in the area. Speak to a
cruise ship representative for further assistance.
23) Q: How can I get on a glass bottom boat or semi-submarine?
A: Excursions may be booked online, with your cruise ship or at the Welcome Desk at the
Festival Place Cruise Terminal. Vendors are located along Prince George Wharf.
24) Q: How can I make an overseas call?
A: Phone and SIM cards are available for purchase at stores in the downtown Nassau area. Visit
the Welcome Desk at the Festival Place Cruise Terminal for further assistance.
Q: Are there any Wi-Fi hotspots in the area?
A: Wi-Fi hotspots can be found at Via Café, Starbucks, Burger King, Hard Rock Café Nassau and
Dunkin Donuts.
25) Q: Where are the restrooms?
A: Restrooms are located at the Festival Place Cruise Terminal.
26) Q: What do I need to get back to the ship?
A: Ship-card and Photo ID are required to return to the cruise ship; ship-card only for persons 18
and under.
