GETTING TO THE STADIUM
DROP-OFF POINTS
The National Football Stadium at
Windsor Park is located at Donegall
Avenue, Belfast BT12 6LU.
The vast majority of fans will enter the
stadium via Boucher Road and this is the
recommended entrance.
All ticket holders are advised to check
seat details. Entrance information is as
follows:
North Stand A-G and L -Q, South Stand,
West Stand: Enter via Boucher Road.
North Stand H-K and R-T and East Stand:
Enter via Donegall Avenue.
ENTRANCE TO
THE STADIUM
Entry is via automated turnstiles.
The entry point for your seat can be
found on your ticket.
If you have a ticket for a hospitality
lounge or a corporate box please enter
the stadium via the VIP/Hospitality
entrance located in the South Stand.
The National Football Stadium at
Windsor Park is located in a residential
area. We would ask all fans to be
mindful of this and to respect our
neighbours who live in the streets
surrounding the stadium.
BY BUS
The Metro 9 bus service provided by Translink runs from
Belfast city centre to City Hospital, the nearest stop to the

Once you disembark from the bus at City Hospital please
make your way to the stadium by walking south-west on
Lisburn Road towards Fitzwilliam Street, then continue
walking along the Lisburn Road before turning right on to
Lower Windsor Avenue and cross the railway footbridge to
the stadium. Stewards and volunteers will guide you to your
entry point on match day.
BY TRAIN
The nearest train stop to the stadium is Adelaide Halt. Trains
run from Great Victoria Street station to Adelaide on the
Bangor-Belfast-Lisburn-Portadown-Newry line. Timetables

NIRailways provides extra capacity on services to Belfast
city centre, Portadown, Bangor, Coleraine and Carrickfergus
for all international xtures.
BY FOOT
If you are walking from Belfast city centre please make your
way to Shaftesbury Square/Bradbury Place along Great
Victoria Street. From there walk along the Lisburn Road
until you reach Lower Windsor Avenue. Turn right down
Lower Windsor Avenue and cross the railway footbridge to
the stadium. Stewards and volunteers will guide you to your
entry point on match day.
BY CAR
The recommended route travelling from the south (M1) is
to exit the motorway at Stockmans Lane (A55). Continue
on Stockmans Lane, then turn left on to Lisburn Road and
continue along that road until you reach Lower Windsor
Avenue. Park on street before walking across railway
footbridge at bottom of Lower Windsor Avenue to stadium.
The recommended route for those travelling from the north
(M2) is to follow the signs for the M1, travel along the
Westlink and then exit the motorway at Stockmans Lane as
above.
There is no parking available in the residential streets
immediately beside the National Football Stadium at
Windsor Park.
ENTRANCE TO
THE STADIUM
The stadium entrance gate for away fans is located at
Donegall Avenue. Turn right on entry and follow the wall to
the orange turnstiles leading to the concourse behind the K
and I plus J and T sections.
TICKETS
You must produce a valid ticket to gain entry to
the stadium and upon request for inspection at
any time during the event. Failure to produce
your ticket when requested may result in you
being ejected from the venue.
Purchase of a ticket other than via an authorised
ticket agent or ticketing partner of the Irish
Football Association are grounds for seizure
or cancellation of such ticket without refund or
other compensation.
Any ticket purchaser who has selected print at
home should ensure they print their tickets in
advance of arriving at the stadium.
SHOP
The JD Northern Ireland Supporters’ Store is
located in the stadiums East Stand. It stocks
a range of Northern Ireland replica kits and
training gear. Opening times vary.
ACCESSIBILITY
WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE SEATING
The National Football Stadium now offers fans
133 wheelchair-accessible spaces and an equal
number of adjacent seats for their personal
assistants.
Spaces are located at the rear of the East
(Family) Stand, the South Lower Stand and the
South Upper Stand. All seating is accessed via
lifts in the respective stands. Accessible toilet
facilities are available next to each seating area.
In addition the stadiums corporate lounges are
wheelchair-accessible.
AMBULANT SEATING
For individuals who do not require a wheelchair
but who may have mobility issues there are
several ambulant seats available in the South
and East Stands.
All of the ambulant seats offer step-free access,
with entrances via lifts or the ground oor
concourse. In addition individuals who require
an essential companion/carer while attending
the match can request a complimentary seat.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED
Visually impaired fans can sit in any area of
the stadium. Match commentary headsets are
provided by Soccer Sight and can be obtained
by lling out a form using this link: https://www.
irishfa.com/tickets/accessibility-tickets. Please
email [email protected] if you require any
further seat information.
FOOD AND DRINK
Food and drink is available at kiosks inside
the stadium. You can pay by card or cash
at the kiosks, however there are no ATMs in
the stadium. The nearest cash machines are
located on Donegall Road and Lisburn Road.
Fans meeting in the city centre are advised
there are pubs and hot food outlets in the
Dublin Road/Great Victoria Street area and
Shaftesbury Square/Bradbury Place en route to
the stadium.
The laws in relation to drinking in public places
and the carrying of alcohol on supporters’ buses
may be different in Northern Ireland than in your
country. Signs are displayed in public places
where the drinking of alcohol is forbidden.
STADIUM TOURS
Irish FA Tours deliver public stadium tours every
day (Monday to Friday 1-3pm, Saturday and
Sunday 11am-1pm). Pre booking is essential
through an online booking system. To book a
tour simply follow the link on www.irishfa.com/
tours.
The stadium tour begins in the Education and
Heritage Centre located in the East Stand Level
1. This is followed by a guided walking tour of
the stadium, including areas such as changing
rooms, dugouts and press room.
All persons seeking entrance to the
ground acknowledge the National
Football Stadiums right to search any
person and their belongings whether
outside or inside the ground and
to refuse entry to or eject from the
ground any person refusing to submit
to such a search.
All bags are subject to search. All
persons aged over 18 are subject to
a search when entering the building.
Please allow time for this search as
part of your travel time to the stadium.
As a condition of entry to the stadium
no weapons or items deemed
dangerous that may pose a threat to
another individual are allowed.
Prohibited items include knives,
reworks, explosives, smoke canisters,
aerosols, airhorns, noisemakers, ares,
weapons, dangerous or hazardous
items, illegal substances and legal
highs, laser devices, bottles, glass
vessels, cans, poles or any article
that may be used as a weapon and/
or compromise public safety or which
may pose a hazard or nuisance to
any other person, or any article to be
used for a commercial or a charitable
purpose.
Any person in possession of such
items will be refused entry to or
ejected from the stadium.

The following acts are offences under the Justice Act (NI) 2011 and conviction
may result in a Banning Order being made:
