Welcome to the Coventry Building Society Arena.
On behalf of everyone at Coventry City Football Club, we look forward to welcoming you for
your forthcoming fixture at the CBS.
We hope to provide you with the best possible matchday experience. Ticketing queries should
be directed to your own Ticket Office, but if we can help with any other queries, please get in
touch. We hope most of your questions are answered in the guide below.

Please note that supporters may be refused entry if prohibited items, including any illegal
substances, are found or if supporters refuse to cooperate with the search processes in place
at the CBS. The ground regulations are displayed on entry to the Stadium.
Location

Away Allocation & Ticketing
The allocation of tickets offered to away clubs vary depending on demand and the
police/safety advice we are provided with.
Visiting supporters will be located in the South Stand (often using blocks 7 - 12). Turnstiles open
2 hours before kick-off. Tickets are available on the gate (cash only) unless the game is an all-
ticket match for away fans – please check your club website for details.
We operate ticket barcode scanners on entry, so please make sure you have your ticket
ready, and it is in good condition to ensure the smooth operation of getting fans into the arena.
If you require ticketing assistance in advance of the game, please contact your own club’s
Ticket Office for assistance. If you have any ticketing queries on the day of the game prior to
entering the stadium, please visit the in-house Ticket Office which is located near the South
entrance of the arena.
A stadium map is printed on the back of your match ticket.
There is no re-admittance to the stadium if you leave prior to the end of the match.
The is a smoking house available to away fans to use during half time outside the South Stand.

Travelling by Train
Coventry is on the main line between London and Birmingham.
Coventry train station is located in Coventry City Centre, around 4 miles from the Coventry
Building Society Arena. There is an on-site train station at the CBS ‘Coventry Arena’. There is
not a special matchday schedule, and trains run as timetabled.

Busses

To get to the stadium using public transport from Coventry train station:
1. Get the Number 9 (towards University Hospital) or 11 or 12X (towards Coventry) bus
from Coventry Train Station to Coventry Transport Museum
2. Then catch the Number 3 from Trinity Street or Number 5 from Pool Meadow to Arena
Park (Tesco)
3. Once you arrive at Arena Park (Tesco), there is an underpass which takes you to Car
Park B of the stadium

Coach Parking
If you are a fan arranging coach parking from an away club, please contact the Coventry
Building Society Arena on cbsarena@apcoa.com regarding arrangements, availability and
prices.
Car Parking
Both onsite parking at the Coventry Building Society Arena and offsite parking nearby is
available.

For away fans, Car Park C is the closest available paid parking to the South Stand.

Matchday Catering & Programmes
Food and drink (soft drinks and alcohol) is available within the South Stand concourse from the
opening of turnstiles. All kiosks are cashless.
We offer a range of beers within the concourse and also a wide range of food options,
including vegetarian and vegan options.
Our matchday programme ‘PUSBis priced £3.50 for league games and is available around
the ground outside and can also be purchased inside the concourse behind any kiosk. All
programmes include an extensive visitor’s section.

Flags/Banners & Drums
Flags/Banners
Coventry City do allow flags in the away end, provided prior permission from the Club is sought
by the support and subject to there being space to display your flag safely. Fans are required
to contact the Club’s Head of Supporter Services, Jodie Jones, on Jodie.Jones@ccfc.co.uk.
Please attach the fire safety certificate for your flag to your email, along with the dimensions
of your flag, a photo of your flag, details of any poles which are attached to the flag, location
where you will be sat/where the flag would be displayed, and the best contact telephone
number for yourself.
Please note, the Club reserves the right to ban, or refuse entry to any flag/banner considered
to be offensive, discriminatory, insulting, or carry any inappropriate/commercial language or
message. Any flags or banners not pre-advised and approved may be confiscated and
returned after the fames.
We will always try to accommodate flags/banners for an away team to make the matchday
experience better, but in accordance with the regulations above.
Drums
We do not authorise away fans to bring a drum to the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Fan Behaviour
Coventry City FC are committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our
supporters.
If you witness of experience behaviour in the stadium which you believe breaches our Diversity
& Inclusion Policy or falls below the standard that you would expect, we encourage you to
report it as soon as possible.
If you would like to report an incident, you can:
Speak to your nearest Steward or Supporter Services Officer.
Report it on our dedicated text reporting number 07537 453 117 identifying the
Block/Seat location and details of the incident.

Prohibited Items
The prohibited items list set by the Coventry Building Society Arena can be viewed here. This
applies to home and away supporters.
Disabled Supporters & Accessibility
Tickets for disabled supporters are available to be purchased and are priced at the age-
relevant price with the carer (if required) going free of charge.
Wheelchairs are located at the front of Block 8 in the South Stand, with stewards dedicated to
this area.
If you are disabled badge holder, please email cbsarena@apcoa.com for availability and
prices of car parking.
First Aid
In a medical emergency, fans should notify the nearest steward to alert one of the response
teams to your location. There are also a number of defibrillators around the stadium to be used
in the event of a cardiac arrest.
Leaving the Stadium
Please note that after the games, crowd control measures will be in place to segregate home
and away supporters. This means that away fans will be unable to turn left outside of the
stadium towards the Arena Shopping Park.
