very difficult to ‘’classify’’ many of these artists – each artist is really a category onto themselves, and some come out of more than
one tradition. Even the traditions are sometimes hard to “name” – actually, categories really only tell you what someone is not – part
of the process of elimination – it is the individuality of each musician that really counts – one has to hear each musician.
