Gurdwara – a place where Sikh’s go to worship. Lots of other people can
visit the Golden Temple too. Everyone is welcome!

people serve food to
everyone. The Indian
word for this is langar.
Lotus Temple
The Lotus Temple is in New Delhi,
the capital of India.
It is called the Lotus Temple
because it looks like the lotus
flower…
It is a House of Worship. Millions of people
visit this temple every year!

of population.

• It is named after a temple and had the
first train in India.

(after Hollywood) because it produces a
great deal of Indian movies.

Asia.
