Concert Choir

The Concert Choir performs four major
concerts throughout the year (Homecoming
Concert, the Christmas Concert, the Home
Concert, and the Spring Music Festival).
Members of the Concert Choir are
ambassadors and may also perform for
events in the metro area. The High School
choir takes an annual spring toursee the
Concert Choir Tour section listed under
Travel Opportunities.

Dressed in traditional costumes, the
Carolers perform during the holiday
season at a variety of locations and local
events such as luncheons, churches,
Bonanzaville, and West Acres Mall.

school Christmas Concert and Social.

Travel Studies/English Humanities Trip

Every other summer, high school students
and adults have the opportunity to travel
overseas for 2-3 weeks exploring the culture
and scenery of a different country. Students
who plan to take the trip are required to
take a course in conjunction with the

experience.

The CloseUp trip to Washington DC is an
experience taken in coordination with
the CloseUp class. Each spring, Oak Grove
students join other students from across the
nation for the opportunity to gain
understanding of government and the
political system and see the sights of DC.
