VAX Version 2.9.92: Notification Settings
The Notification Settings section
replaces the former Administrator
Settings which had Alert / Email /
Live Camera settings.
Allows you to create, modify,
and remove notifications
(e.g., door opened) that appear
in the Notifications Sidebar.
Notifications run through a series of
global and administrator rules that
determine whether the notification is
saved, shown in realtime, and/or sent
via Email or Web Push.
Notification Styles allow you to
customize how specific notifications
appear in the Notifications Sidebar.
You can choose specific background
color, image shown, and sound played
when notification is shown.
Live Camera rule allows you to
display an associated camera when
a specific notification appears.
Realtime notifications rules can be
placed in Groups, which can be
selected on the Main Screen or
Monitoring menu to filter notifications
using only the rules in the group.
VAX Version 2.9.92: Web Push
• Web Push allows VAX notifications to be pushed to your device
using your web browser.
• Notification Rules specify which web notifications
an Administrator is sent.
• Alert style messages slide in at the top or bottom right hand corner
of your desktop screen even when your browser is minimized.
• Web Push is a service that is supported by Chrome, Safari,
and Firefox browsers and requires VAX server be connected
to the internet.

VAX Version 2.9.92: Data Migrator
• In current VAX software, you cannot move devices like panels
and site from one partition to another.
• Data Migrator enables export and import of data
between partitions and systems.
• All or specific data like Users, Crisis Levels, Access Groups,
Devices and Scheduling, Cameras, and Action Plans can be
exported from one or multiple partitions.
• From an export file, you can import all or multiple data
from one ore more partitions to an existing or new partition.
